Dr. Ryan Goodman attended Western Michigan University, where he graduated with a degree in Finance, while minoring in Japanese, Communications and General Business. While at WMU, he began studying martial arts, which led him to living and training in Japan, Korea and Thailand. In 2008, he began a career in mixed martial arts, which led to a heavyweight title fight in Tokyo, Japan. During his MMA career in Asia, Dr. Goodman dealt with various injuries and was introduced to chiropractic, acupuncture, and soft tissue therapy. After feeling the benefits of these treatments, he decided to pursue natural forms of healing by attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL, graduating with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. His education included working with various doctors at the Carol and Frank Morsani Center for Advanced Health Care at the University of South Florida. During this time, he also treated USF student athletes in the athletic training room.
